She's white, she's Australian, she 'rules' the female Rap genre right now!!

Black female Rappers think she's inauthentic and are attributing her phenomenal success to white privilege!

'Fancy' is No 1 on the Billboard hot 100 Chart and 'Problem' -where she collaborated with Ariana Grande - is No 2. This feat makes her the first artiste since the Beatles in 1964 to feature in that esteemed top 2 spots at the same time

I like her songs- including this one. They are very catchy and the lyrics are definitely hood-ish.

But you wonder if she actually speaks and act like that in real life ie does she have that ghetto cred that goes with the territory?

The fact that I don't understand the Igbo language doesn't help!

The lyrics are sultry but cheesy as hell :

Summary: Cheesy lyrics but catchy and memorable song. I love it!

Renowned Author & Poet Maya Angelou ( born Marguerite Ann Johnson) has died at her home at the age of 86 years

She wrote 7 Autobiographies and many poems. Her most popular autobiography is ' I know where the caged bird sings' - a coming-of-age story that illustrates how strength of character and a love of literature can help overcome racism and trauma

In the book, Maya transforms from a victim of racism with an inferiority complex into a self-possessed, dignified young woman capable of responding to prejudice.

What this episode did - If anyone has forgotten... Hannibal is the bad guy!!

There was the deep intense conversations between Will & Hannibal, between Jack and Will ....and then, there was the "tick tock" in the background. Time is running out...

for: Alana- pushed through the window by Abigail ( mind-controlled by Hannibal)

Jack- who got one in the right jugular

Will Graham- who was gutted

Abigail- who had her neck sliced

Hannibal just killed the entire cast! ( ....or not, there is a season 3, y'all)

This!!!

Easily rivals Game of Thrones' Red Wedding episode!

Just for those keeping score:

Mads Mikkelson is playing a character ( Hannibal) who was played previously by a man ( Anthony Hopkins) who won an Oscar ( & a Knighthood) for his portrayal of said character.

And he's knocking it out of the effing park!! * tip of the hat to you, Mads*

You'd be confused, then sad, then confused then distraught. Then you'll remember that this is just make-believe....a damn good one! *hat doffed*

Zedzeezee ( a Fannibal like moi) wrote: "..Each season of Hannibal has ended the way a good novel should- with the major plot threads wrapped up and the character arcs brought full circle in a poetic way. Never feeling cheap, everything being done for an artistic reason..."

I cannot agree MORE!! *slow nod*

In this sense, the Hannibal finale was one of the greatest hours of television I've ever seen.

Fargo , the tv miniseries ( not the movie )



 This is the golden age of television y'all- Breaking Bad, Game of Thrones, House of Cards, Scandal, True Detective, Hannibal and now Fargo ( they are all up there when it comes to great thespian works)

 Plot- ( Key- watch the 1996 flick first, if you've not seen it) A ruthless manipulative man ( read: sadistic awesome bastard , ), Lorne Malvo ( Billy Bob Thornton) meets a small time put-upon insurance sales man ( read: loser with no self confidence ) Lester Nygaard ( Martin Freeman),influences the latter with his malice and violence and sets him on a path of self destruction

 Deputy Molly Solverson ( Allison Tolman) and Animal control officer Gus Grimly (Colin Hanks) try to solve the crimes linked to the duo above


 Fargo is an American dark comedy-crime drama , which is essentially a continuation of the Oscar winning 1996 film of the same name

 Lorne Malvo will remind you of Anton Chigurh from 'No Country for Old Men' -even with the dodgy hair cuts. Evil people have evil hair cuts!

 He makes sadistic sooo cool! ( a Drifter who revels in chaos and violence but he also has a twisted moral code)

 Ah Jeez!, Oh Yah! ( you've got to love Minnesotans & their funny accent + euphemisms) I watched the first episode ( The Crocodile's Dilemma) and I was blown away! Easily 9.5/10 for me ( 6 episodes have now been shown. It's a 10-episode mini-series)

 Malvo : "...A guy insulted me once, I pissed in his gas tank. His car never drove straight again.."
 Malvo: "..Because some roads you shouldn't go down. Because maps used to say there were dragons here; now they don't. But that don't mean the dragons aren't there...”

 The scene where this quote was used just takes your breath away!

Chelsea 2013/14 Season Review

Chelsea lost the European SuperCup on penalties ( indeed, they lost the game in the last seconds of extra time with Jarvi Martinez's last gasp equaliser, after getting their tactics spot on for much of the encounter against Bayern Munich. That should have been a foreboding for the rest of the season! )

Chelsea reached the fifth round of the FA Cup, the quarter-finals of the League Cup, the semi-finals of the Champions League and played their part in the Premier League title race until the very end, but they came away empty handed.

This has been one of the most frustrating seasons I can remember!

That’s not to say that Mourinho’s tactical expertise failed him throughout the campaign—the very opposite, in fact—but his side just didn’t have enough to cross a few finish lines.

None of the top teams in the League got the better of Chelsea. NONE! The Blues took 16 points out of a possible 18 from the top 4!!

At the end of the day, Chelsea really should have won the EPL. It should have been done and dusted weeks before the final game.

Some of the highlights of a poor season by Chelsea's high standards:

The 2-0 thumping of Arsenal at the Emirates in the League Cup

The 1-0 victory at the Etihad ( nobody saw that coming except Mou & his boys. City were just invincible at home prior to that game)

The 4-0 drubbing of Tottenham at the Bridge

The 6-0 shellacking of Arsenal at the Bridge

( Make that a 10-0 aggregate scoreline against our main London rivals at home. Who's the boss in these parts? )

The 2-0 victory against PSG at the Bridge, after losing 3-1 away, in the q/final of the CL. In qualifying for the semi final, as the only English team this year, Chelsea showed a lot of the character that have made them successful in recent times. Unfortunately, this kind of character deserted them too often this season.

Attacking ineptitude:

Chelsea's problem ths season has, unequivocally, been a lack of consistent killer instinct and hunger for goals up front.

Indeed, the Blues finished so high because they did all the hard work against the top teams, but managed to throw it all away against the bottom ones ( this is a list of the teams who claimed Chelsea's scalp this season- Everton, Sunderland, Stoke, Newcastle, Aston Villa, Crystal Palace) Only Everton (at home) should have been a daunting proposition in that list. Even that game should have been won by Chelsea if the attack wasn't so profligate & inept!

Ba is a solid workaday striker and probably should have got more games this season in retrospect. He is not good enough for Chelsea. Eto'o is a class act but too old for a top Premier League team. Fernando Torres is just terrible ( I say that about that last player with a pitiable smile. A lot has been said about him that I.Just.Can't.Anymore)

The trio could only manage 19 league goals between them. THAT IS JUST NOT GOOD ENOUGH!!

This is how the top 4 faired in the EPL in terms of goals scored:

City 102

Liverpool 101

Chelsea 71

Arsenal 68

It is clear where Chelsea needs to improve. I'll leave the 4th-placed team to decide for themselves.

It is widely believed that Diego Costa is a done deal- The Spaniard notched 27 goals in 34 appearances for the newly crowned La Liga champions

With that kind of firepower leading the Chelsea line, it'll be unthinkable for Chelsea to go another Season without Trophies

Some key decisions:

Mourinho sold Mata - something no other manager would have given the slightest thought to doing, and it looked like he was 100% right to do so at the beginning of 2014-particularly with the signing of Matic

But then Oscar, who had a fantastic start to the season, faded. He never really provided the creativity that Mata was renowned for in that No 10 position.

He is still very young and, hopefully, he can become one of the best players in the world over the next few years

Mourinho also dropped Cole and put Azpilicueta (a player who every other manager had on the right) at left-back, and in the process produced the best left-back in the league this season for my money.

Mourinho bought Matic - a player Chelsea had previously sold. He was a brilliant buy. We can only imagine what might have been if he wasn't cup tied for Chelsea's campaign in the latter stages of the UCL.

Mourinho has got the best out of Hazard of any manager so far and if he has 'pissed off' that player in the process then that's a pity. I hope Hazard is sensible and humble enough to take the long view and stay with Chelsea and Mourinho

I think Salah will come good next season. He showed enough to make me believe

De Bruyne shouldn't have been bought in the first place. He was surplus to requirement and had to go( rightly)

A criticism of Mourinho

The Manager should take the blame when things don't go according to plan ( just like he'd take the plaudits when they do)

He was wrong for:

-Not letting Lukaku lead the line for Chelsea this season( despite a stellar preseason by the Belgian) This cost us dearly & aided Everton's campaign

-Playing too defensive against weaker teams and letting his team get outdone by these teams on many occasions. The attacking full back is the key to unlocking those teams who play with many behind the ball ( Zabaletta, Leighton Baines and Seamus Coleman typifies how full backs should play the modern game)

Having said that, you still need your striker to put the ball in the net at the end of the day. So a potent striker is non-negotiable. Goals change games. Once the first one is scored early, there's a high chance that you'd score more 'cos the opposing team can't afford to be negative thereafter.

Chelsea's second half (in their last game against Cardiff City in the league) is an example of how I want the Blues to set up next season- Azpilicueta was supporting the attack on the right and was unlucky not to score, while Cole was doing the same on the left

Matic was a calming presence in central midfield and Oscar was influential by his side. He had more time on the ball, picked the right passes more often, and had a better game than when he was in the No 10 role

-Schurrle has to start most games next season. He is very direct, no pussyfooting around in his game.

-I really don't want to see Ivanovic in the fullback position next year ( except if this is forced by injuries) He is a central defender. Period!

-Chelsea were poor at converting set pieces and corner kicks this season. This is another area where the team needs to improve next season. ( City's Yaya Toure has added this skill to his impressive repertoire- to City's advantage this season)

-Handling of the Press: Mourinho has his ways which are not always the most endearing ( you can say the same about majority of us in life too) All I'm going to say is that we got a Manager, not the Pope. Summary: Nobody is perfect 'cos nobody is Jesus...and look at what they did to the Saviour in all his perfection! :-)

If he wins Trophies, then I'm good.

He didn't quite manage that this season, so we'd let the critics have their '12 mins of fame'

The arrival of Louis Van Gaal, at Man Utd, should (hopefully) take the spot light away from Mourinho a bit next season. They are similar in a lot of ways, including how they handle the Press sometimes

Much is expected from Van Ginkel next season. He was crocked for most of this season

Possible exits: David Luiz, Ashley Cole, Frank Lampard, Ramires

In ( already): Kurt Zouma

Mourinho is thirsty after an underwhelming season ( by his high standards) A thirstier Mourinho should be a good thing for Chelsea next season

Blue is the colour, football is the game, Chelsea is our name. CHELSEA!!

Lastly ( I struggled with the temptation to do this, but lost! )

Congratulations to Arsenal for winning the Champions League ......no? ..*Le Aargh*.... ...it was the FA Cup!..*Le Sigh*

Forgive me for thinking that it was the 'Holy Grail' of club football they won....what with the kind of celebration we saw everywhere ( social media, North London etc)

Did I see y'all give a collective laser side eye to that *building stadium is more important than winning Trophy* ish?

Shall we all get ready for the Apocalypse then- if they win the really big one?

The Positives: Perhaps that win (after gazillion years!! ) will make their fans less disagreeable now?

Game of Thrones S04E07: "Mockingbird": it's all about the moon door

It was not exactly an action-packed episode, as there was a lot of walking, talking and sitting, but it certainly moved the whole story forward

Cersei named The Mountain as the Crown's champion- after the Brute had made mine meat ( literally) of some hapless opponents

Tyrion and Bronn break up- after the latter refuses to be his champion for pragmatic reasons. He doesn't stand a chance against The Mountain!

The best scene in this episode: Oberyn decides to be Tyrion's champion against The Mountain ( Ser Gregor Clegane- remember, he raped & killed Oberyn's sister after killing her children )

But first Oberyn told Tyrion about the history of the events at his ( Tyrion's ) birth

The Tyrion and Jaime scene just before this was also classy- Jaime can't be his champ, Tyrion reminds him of his incest, they both get satisfaction in imagining the disappointment of their dad, Tywin at the failure in life if his sons.

Daenerys starts an unlikely affair with Daario which Ser Jorah Mormont appears to disapprove of. Jealous? ) and and a confrontation with Yunkaii

Arya and the Hound might actually be liking each other. The girl kills a man who wanted a piece of The Hound's neck ( incidentally, the man happened to be on her 'hit list' too! )

The scene with Melisandre and Selyse was pointless to me..well, apart from the obligatory boob shot that GoT is renowned for!

Brienne and Podrick get a lead ( from the talkative Hot Pie) on Arya and now go to the Eyrie.

At the Eyrie:

Sansa plants a ( deserved) slap on the spoilt Robin's cheek for being destructive and spoilt ( blame his mum, Lysa)

Petyr Baelish tells Sansa that he loved her Mum, then creepily kisses her. This is viewed by Lysa Arryn ( Sansa's Aunt & Baellish's wife) , unfortunately!

The jealous Lysa then threatens to throw Sansa through the moon door

Bye, bye, bye Lysa! Good riddance!

Baelish intervenes, tells her that he had only loved one person in the world, Her sister! ( Sansa's slain mother)

Lysa was still trying to come to terms with this shocking revelation when he ends it all -by pushing her out of the moon door to her certain death!

Can't wait for next episode when Oberyn slaughters (hopefully!) The Mountain to save Tyrion and avenge his sister and her children!

Unfortunately, this is going to be in 2 weeks as there's Memorial Day celebrations this weekend

This episode: Wow! Just wow!

You'd be enchanted, then you'd be terrified, then you'd be enchanted & terrified!! :-)

Dr Bedelia Du Maurier told Will Graham that Hannibal is a murderer and he'll 'persuade' you to be one too. "It will be somebody you love and you will think it is the only choice you have,”!!

Dr Bedelia Du Maurier to Will Graham: "..If you think you're about to catch Hannibal, that's because he wants you to think that. Don't fool yourself into thinking you're in control of what's happening..."

Hannibal to Will Graham ( speaking about Mason Verger's rudeness to him): “Discourtesy is unspeakably ugly to me. Whenever feasible, one should always try to eat the rude.”!!

(“Free-range rude,” adds Will.)

Hannibal:,“Mason Verger is a problem. Problem-solving is hunting: It’s a savage pleasure, and we are born to it — a pleasure we can share"

Over a meal of fish prepared by Hannibal:

Jack - at this moment I have to confess that I don't know who is pursuing who more than this fish do ( points to meal)

Hannibal- Whomever is pursuing whom at this very moment, I intend to eat them! :-)

( hope you got the brilliant cryptic message in that last statement. The guy eats people! )

The dialogues are just out of this world

Will Graham to Hannibal "Mason Verger is a pig and he deserves to be somebody's bacon!"

You think you've seen depraved, *sniggers* you ain't ever heard of Hannibal! :-/

The FaceOff moment:

Hannibal drugs Mason Verger with psychedelic substances ( another twisted loony who he outwitted) and convinced the guy to cut off his own face!!

Then Mason feeds parts of his own face to Will Graham's dogs!

( Hannibal to the shocked Will Graham: he broadened their palates as I broadened yours! #dead )

...then Mason eats his own nose!!

....then he says- "I have a taste and consistency that is similar to chicken gizzard!!!"

...then he belches and says : " I'm full of myself" !!!!

( easily the best line this season! Truer words have never been spoken! Just Dessert! )

Hannibal's chilling retort : “Pity has no place at the table,”

There was even a reference to Ancient Greece-:

Hannibal explaining one of his sketches to Will Graham: "Achilles lamenting the death of Patroclus. Whenever he is mentioned in The Iliad, Patroclus seems to be defined by his empathy.

Will: He became Achilles on the field of war. Died from there, wearing his armor.

Hannibal: He did. Hiding and revealing identity is a constant theme throughout the Greek epics.

Will: As are battle-tested friendships.

Hannibal: Achilles wished that all Greeks would die so that he and Patroclus could conquer Troy alone. It took divine intervention to bring them down"

That dialogue is basically innuendoes & read-between-the-lines chit-chat!!

I salute the writers of this show!

Hannibal- They say the afterlife involves bright light. But they don't tell you it's because you're in somebody's fridge!!"

If my review of The Amazing Spider Man 2 sent you into despondency then there is hope with Godzilla ( another story retold in a Blockbuster movie) -which incidentally was released today, 15th of May 2014 & will be released in a North America the following day

It's the flick which is supposed to renew our hopes in Blockbusters and really scary monsters which we can remember in years to come

I've read great things about it in Reviews:

"It's badass when it needs to be, emotional when it should be, and consistently smart and one step ahead of the audience in the right way"

Bonus points- Brian Cranston ( remember him? Walter White of the Breaking Bad hit tv show) also stars

The Amazing Spider Man 2-CGI is killing the Blockbusters!


Computer- generated Imagery ( CGI) and visual effects are killing the Blockbusters in my opinion

Watched this latest instalment of the American super-hero flick and I left wondering: "Am I going to remember this in 3 months?"

Spider Man ( Andrew Garfield) performed his web tricks and all, and his love interest, Gwen Stacy ( Emma Stone) pulled her weight ..before she met a tragic end

Jamie Foxx, plays Max Dillon, an Oscorp engineer who tumbles into a tub of eels, that turn him into the power freak Electro. The gratuitous geek -turned -villain character, which usually comes with the territory in this flicks, was Dane DeHaan ( Harry Osborn)

Hear one of my favourite movie Critics, Wesley Morris : "Amazing 2 is the financial equivalent of swishing water around in a mostly empty jar of tomato sauce to make sure you get it all"

Maybe I'm becoming old-fashioned but, just like Superman's Man of Steel, last year, this didn't set my pulse-racing and it was too video-gamish.

Not impressed

The scary bit is that there are many sequels planned

Sorry if this comes across as a bit dour

I needed inspiration for writing an end of the season match blog with the realisation that my team wasn't winning anything that season at the back of my mind. I needed the assistance of a experienced relative....he's an Arsenal fan!

The match

The first half was essentially a one- way traffic with Chelsea having most of the ball and the better chances. However they still ended the half a goal down.

Oscar could've had a penalty in the second minute. His brilliant turn in the box had its progress halted by a foul. Ref waved play on

Torres missed a golden opportunity - he only had the open goal to aim at and still pick out Steven Caulker's big toe! :-o...making it look like a superb block

In the 15', a speculative effort from Bellamy from outside the box took a wicked deflection off Azpi's back and found it's way into the right side of Schwarzer's goal! The Keeper had no chance! 1-0 to Cardiff!

Salah missed a few half chances and had a shout for a penalty late in the first half

In the 26', Oscar beats the offside trap and should half scored. He was ponderous after controlling the ball and this allowed the defender to block the shot -resulting in a corner kick

The second half was essentially like the first, with Chelsea dominating possession and being ineffective in the last third. Our man Torres= Chief Culprit

Then Schurrle was brought in for Mikel and Oscar switched to central midfield

Chelsea's game improved and in the 72'- Azpi beats the offside, heads a neat cross which was saved point blank by Marshall, Azpi hits his rebound against the crossbar and the following rebound was volleyed in by Schurrle 1-1!

In the 75', Torres finally scores.

Fabio plays Torres on side in the box when he receives a Schurrle headed ball. He even had the luxury of two more touches before he slots it home. 2-1 Chelsea

He didn't really celebrate ( sign that he's leaving finally!?! )

Nathan Ake replaces Salah with about 13 mins to go

One of the Academy players, Jonathan Swift, had a couple of minutes of football - when Hazard was introduced

Nothing newsworthy in the remainder of the game

Thoughts

Salah really is a terrible finisher, but his second half performance was much better than the first

Kalas played well in CB again. Ivanovic was his supporting act.

on the right is a much more effective attacking tool than Ivanovic

Azpilicueta is one of the best man to man markers and is a better attacking full back than Ivanovic

Oscar is a creative player from the deep. The ideal partner for Matic in CM, in my opinion. He is not a No 10 ( at least not at Chelsea)

Compulsory decision making classes is required for every AM this summer.

The last time Chelsea came from behind in a league match ( prior to yesterday) was December 29th, 2013, when Eden Hazard and Samuel Eto'o combined to overcome a Martin Skrtel goal and see off Liverpool 2-1.

In fairness Chelsea didn't go behind a lot in 2014, but when they did, the outcome was disastrous

Pix 4 and improved decision- making should sort that ish out next season

Chelsea needs to move the ball much quicker too

I hope Mourinho was passing the dreaded vote of confidence on Torres in that Postmatch speech -where he was extolling the inept striker's virtues

Chelsea scored 30 & 31 fewer goals than Liverpool and Man City respectively. That's enough to tell you where Chelsea got it very wrong this season.

Chelsea's 105 league goals in a season record is still intact though. Just! ( some positive in a disappointing season)

I have a feeling Ashley Cole has played his last match for Chelsea. He didn't do much wrong at left FB yesterday though

Remember the Colombian team of '93-'94?

About twenty one years ago Colombia ( coached by Francisco Maturana) traveled to Buenos Aires needing just a draw to confirm their place at the 1994 World Cup and consign their hosts, Argentina, to a playoff against Australia.

What followed was one of the most famous victories in the history of World Cup qualifying, a 5-0 ( Rincon 41, 62, Asprilla 49, 64, Valencia 84 ) thrashing which elevated Colombia to a position among the favorites for the upcoming World Cup in the USA

That victory holds a position of significance in the history of Colombian football. It was an important historical moment

At the time there were maybe one or two of their players abroad. After that victory five or six more moved away.

Just a few years later they became exporters.

Today that history is displayed through Falcao, Jackson, Zuñiga, Cuadrado and others. Colombian players are now stars on the world stage

That victory also had a negative consequence-including a fatal one!

The 'bandwagon effect' of success ensured that the team didn't quite prepare as well as they had normally done before that match. They started improvising and cutting corners. Players like Rincón, Faustino Asprilla, Leonel Álvarez, Adolfo Valencia, Andrés Escobar, Luis Herrera had become overnight superstars

They were eliminated in the first round of the World Cup.

The Olay is currently on at Shakespeare's Globe Theatre in London

Written between 1588 & 1593

The play is set during the latter days of the Roman Empire and tells the fictional story of Titus, a general in the Roman army, who is engaged in a cycle of revenge with Tamora, Queen of the Goths.

It is said to be Shakespeare's bloodiest and most violent work.

Plot:

Saturninus & Bassianus squabble over who'd be Emperor when their royal father died.

Marcus Andronicus (the tribune & Titus' brother) told them that the renowned general ( Titus) would be the next Emperor

Titus came back from war with prisoners ( Tamora, her 3 sons & her lover, Aaron the Moor )

Despite the desperate pleas of Tamora, Titus sacrifices her eldest son, Alarbus, in order to avenge the deaths of his own sons during the war. Distraught, Tamora and

her two surviving sons, Demetrius and Chiron, vow revenge on Titus and his family.

Titus refuse the throne but supports Saturninus' bid to be Emperor. Saturninus promises to marry Titus' daughter Lavinia

But Lavinia is already betrothed to Bassianus. Titus would have none of it, accuses all those who oppose the marriage of treason, and kills his own son, Mutius, in the scuffle

Saturninus is put off the Andronicus family by this, he marries Tamora instead

Tamora & her sons see the opportunity for revenge!

Her sons, Demetrius & Chirion, kill Bassianus, rape and maim his wife, Lavinia ( they cut off her hands & tongue) and, through the help of Aaron ( a Moor who is in a sexual relationship with Tamora) , frame Titus' sons, Marcus & Quintus

Saturninus sentences them to death for the murder of his brother

Titus is overcome with grief at the misfortune that has befallen his two sons & daughter

Aaron then visits Titus, falsely telling him that Saturninus will spare Martius and Quintus if either Titus, Marcus or, Titus's remaining son, Lucius, cuts off one of their hands and sends it to him.

Titus has Aaron cut off his hand and send it to the emperor, but in return, a messenger brings Titus Martius and Quintus' severed heads, along with Titus's severed left hand.

Desperate for revenge, Titus orders Lucius to flee Rome and raise an army among their former enemy, the Goths.

Later, Lavinia 'writes' the names of her attackers in the dirt, using a stick held with her mouth and between her stumps.

Tamora secretly gives birth to a mixed-race child, fathered by Aaron. Aaron kills the midwife and nurse and flees with the baby to save it from Saturninus' inevitable wrath.

Lucius, marching on Rome with an army, captures Aaron and threatens to hang the infant. To save the baby, Aaron reveals the entire revenge plot to Lucius.

Back in Rome, Titus pretends as if he is insane. Convinced of his madness, Tamora, Chiron and Demetrius approach him, dressed as the spirits of Revenge, Murder, and Rape. Tamora (as Revenge) tells Titus that she will grant him revenge on all of his enemies if he can convince Lucius to postpone the imminent attack on Rome.

Titus agrees and sends Marcus to invite Lucius to a reconciliatory feast. Revenge then offers to invite the Emperor and Tamora as well, and is about to leave when Titus insists that Rape and Murder (Chiron and Demetrius) stay with him.

When Tamora is gone, Titus cuts their throats and drains their blood into a basin held by Lavinia. Titus then grinds the bones of Demetrius and Chiron into powder and bake their heads.

The next day, during the feast at his house, Titus asks Saturninus if a father should kill his daughter when she has been raped. Saturninus agrees, so Titus kills Lavinia, telling Saturninus of the rape.

Titus then reveals that Chirion & Demetrius have been baked in the pie Tamora has just been eating.

Titus then kills Tamora, and is immediately killed by Saturninus

The Emperor himself is subsequently killed by Lucius to avenge his father, Titus' death.

Lucius is then proclaimed Emperor.

He gives Saturninus a state burial, throws Tamora's body to the wild beasts outside the city, and buries the unrepentant Aaron chest-deep so that he is left to die of thirst and starvation.

There's also a 1999 film adaptation of this revenge tragedy:

American comedy flick starring: Seth Rogen, Zac Efron, Rose Byrne, Dave Franco, and Christopher Mintz-Plasse

Director: Nicholas Stoller

Mac (Seth Rogen) and his wife Kelly (Rose Byrne) are a young couple with a newborn daughter who have normal lives until Delta Psi, a fraternity known for their outrageous parties, moved next door.

Of course parties are associated with noise and that causes friction between the couple and the fraternity's leaders, Teddy (Zac Effron) and Pete (Dave Franco).

The film is basically about the couples multiple failed attempts to get the Fraternity out of their neighbourhood. Teddy probably hates the couple because they remind him of his future after school

It's hilarious with raunchy jokes, it's mindless slapstick comedy ( lactating mother, Robert Deniro- themed parties) It touches on the rite of passage from a college party person to the responsible role of parenting

You'll enjoy it if that's your thing- but I just didn't feel the comedy after a while. I felt the flick lost me even though it was just 90 mins long.

It got a good score following critical reviews though
