That Dennis Bergkamp's goal against Newcastle-Audacious!
Setting: English Premiership, Newcastle-0, Arsenal 2 2nd March 2002
Bergkamp collected a low pass from the left flank in the edge of the opponent area with his back to goal. Under pressure from his marker Nikos Dabizas, he controlled the ball with one flick, sent it around Dabizas on his right, while he turned facing the goal on Dabizas's left side. He met the ball behind the hapless defender and placed it precisely into the bottom right-hand corner of the goal to score.
A simply 'rude' ( from the defender's point of view) and audacious effort! :) Great goal! B-)
Hear the late Sir Bobby Robson(Newcastle's coach at the time): ''You can't blame anyone for that. You just have to accept that Bergkamp did a good thing" :D
