The Zambians are African Champions
Zambia defeated Cote D'Ivoire on penalties 8-7, a few minutes ago, in the final of the African Cup of Nations. The game had ended 0-0 after 120 minutes of football. Bar the Ivoriens, I don't think anybody can say the Zambians didn't deserve this. I think they were better on the day. Cote D'ivoire just didn't turn up-with Didier Drogba missing a penalty in the second half. The spirits of the Zambian players, who died in the 1993 plane crash off the coast of Gabon, were surely with their current squad today. Congratulations to the new African Kings
