For a long time after this film many people's worst nightmare was Hannibal the Cannibal
The film ( a psychological thriller with some gore) was very successful at the box office and at the Oscars-it won 5 awards (including best actor for Sir Hopkins and Best actress for Jodie Foster(Clarice Starling)
