Game of Thrones is back-Two Swords was a solid Premiere

Spoiler Alert -look away now - if you don't want yo know how this went down

The first episode of Season 4, Two Swords, was a solid Premiere, yesterday

Prince Oberyn ( Pedro Pascal) looks and acts like a proper assh*le. He's looking to revenge his sister's death but I have a feeling he's a dead man walking

Sansa Lannister (Sophie Turner) , nee Stark, hates Tyrion ( Peter Drinklage) because his father murdered her brother and mother.

One-armed Jaime ( Nikolaj Coster-Waldau) still wants to continue his incestuous relationship with his twin sister, Cersei (Lena Headey)

Jon Snow ( Kit Harrington) admits to killing Qhorin Halfhand (at his trial by the Brotherhood of the Night's Watch) and to sleeping with Ygritte, but also reveals what he has learned of the wildlings' plans of attack

King Joffrey (Jack Gleeson) chastises Jaime for his absence during the battle of the Blackwater, makes fun of his age, the loss of his sword hand, and lack of accomplishment as a member of the Kingsguard.

Daario (Michiel Huisman) attempts to romance Daenerys ( Emilia Clarke) on the march of her Army towards Meereen

Sandor "The Hound" Clegane ( Rory McCann) tells his captive Arya Stark (Maisie Williams) that he intends to ransom her to her Aunt Lysa in the Vale. The obligatory gore and blood shed was right at the end - with Sandor dispatching 4 nonentities to the world beyond while Arya got her revenge, when she kills the guy who pilfered her sword ( Needle) & killed her friend in Season 3
