It is no longer news that Rory Mcilroy is the new US Open champion. What is spectacular is the manner of that victory-he blew all pretenders to the crown away with an assured performance-he won with a 16 under par performance. His creative mojo was firing on all pistons-no one could touch him.
This masterclass of a performance comes on the heels of his Augusta (Masters) nightmare -where he saw his 4-shot lead turn to a 10-shot deficit within a day. It was a major meltdown and few believed he could recover from that epic failure.
What do you do when you fall? You leave regrets in the past, pick yourself up, go out there and kick some butt, Rory -style :-). That's what's up!.
Lesson-Just because we got knocked down doesn't mean we can’t get back up. What doesn't break us should make us stronger. Rory Mcilroy inspires me, I hope he inspires you too?
At Augusta-the agony of defeat
Yesterday- the joy of victory
